I had the pleasure of going on the Kindergarten field trip to the Amarillo zoo and then to the park to eat and play.  Nothing like turning lose over 100 kids in a zoo and then to the park.  They all had so much fun looking at the different animals even though some of them were in their cages so that they could have their area cleaned.  

Then it was off to the park to play.  They all ran around and enjoyed their selves a lot.  I think it was the thought of not being at school all day and just having fun.  All of the classes got to mix together and enjoyed playing with their friends regardless of what class they were in.

Thank God for mom Cody's end of year MDO party was the same day as Shaleigh's Kinder field trip.  So she went to MDO and I went to the zoo.  Both of us armed with cameras.  Cody really seemed to enjoy his end of the year party.  Mom took him and enjoyed the visiting with the other teachers and mothers of the other kids.  He really seemed to like the water table and spent most of his time around it splashing in the water.  So much so that they put a jacket on him so that he wouldn't get cold.

As soon as Shaleigh and I hit town we headed to the church to crash his party.  Shaleigh enjoyed riding the little trike and playing on the bouncy house and with Cody.  I am so blessed that we are apart of such a wonderful playschool as this one.  The teachers love our kids unconditionally and would do anything for them.

The official grand-kids

We were honored and excited to celebrate this exciting event with Lee, Kristie, and Lucas.  We have all been looking forward to this special day since Lucas entered our lives in 2010.  It has been a pleasure to be a part of this young mans life and we look forward to lots of years watching the cousins play and enjoy each other.  Knowing that no matter what happens in life they have each other.

This little one has been a part of our family for several years but now it is official as we celebrated his adoption.  Lucas we love you and are so proud of you.  We wouldn't have missed this event for all the money in the world.

Mom has helped buy each of these kids their pedal cars.  Lucas was lucky enough to inherit Lee's car since it needs to be passed down to his kids.  I never had one so we bought our kids cars.  Mom has been dying to get this picture....all her grand-kids out for a cruise together.
