It has been a great pleasure working with this bunch of kids this year.  I have so enjoyed seeing their faces light up with delight when they figured out how to get the ball to move down the field or scored a goal.  I love working with kids during soccer season.  Thanks everyone and thanks to God for allowing me to have this time with Shaleigh and her friends.

Shaleigh, Cody, and I attend most of the football games that are in town.  Homecoming is that much more special because that is when most of our previous alumina come to watch their old hometown team play.  Mom went with us this year and Kristie and the kids were suppose to come down but had car trouble and didn't get here until after the game.

We all enjoyed going to the game and visiting with old friends.  Glad we could get the kids pictures taken together.

We all had a great time at the Homecoming bonfire.  I took Shaleigh, Sally, Lilly, and Bay.  We cheered along with the cheerleaders, and enjoyed watching the fire being lit.  I kept the kids in sight at all times so that I wouldn't have to worry about them getting to close to the fire.

 We took the kids to the church courtyard to have their pictures taken.  They both did so good considering there were outfit changes.  Cody had a good time with the soccer ball and peek a booing with his sister around the tree.  Overall they did really good.  So proud of them.

This year Cody goes into the 2 year old room where they start teaching them colors, numbers, and they names.  I know he is only 18 months but he was in the baby room last year so they moved him up.

As Dan and I walked him into class we realized that he is getting so big.  I have a hard time realizing that he is almost 2.  The time has flown by so fast.  Here is to a new year filled with many adventures.

Well it is hard to believe that Shaleigh is now in the 1st Grade.  She has a wonderful teacher this year, Mrs. James.  She says that her class has the highest AR points in the 1st grade and she said she would keep Shaleigh occupied.  I told her that she talked if she was bored and Mrs. James said most smart ones are.  I am really impressed with her and Shaleigh loves her. 

I look forward to this year and hope Shaleigh continues to love 1st grade and Mrs. James.  The 1st week they had a spelling test and vocabulary test.  Shaleigh made a 100 on both of them.  So proud of her.
