We go to the carnival every year and this year was no exception.  The kids roamed around the room playing the games and earning candy in return.  Ok Shaleigh did, Cody just roamed around and picked candy out of the buckets without playing any games.  The people working the games thought Cody was adorable and couldn't play because he was too young so they just gave him the candy.

Thanks TCF for always putting on the carnival, I know my kids love it.

This is the 3rd year for Shaleigh to do Happy dance/cheer.  I think they have worked hard with the girls and they all have fun cheering at the games.  Here is just one game that we cheered at.

I'm hoping that I can keep her involved until Junior High where she will probably join athletics.  In the mean time she does stuff like this and she really loves it and loves spending time with her friends.

Tulia Pumpkin Patch

We always try to go out to the Tulia pumpkin patch and pick us some pumpkins for the porch.  This year the crop was pretty skim picking but it was fun to watch the kids roam around the field trying to find that perfect pumpkin.  They had so much fun looking through the patch for that perfect one.

I have taken my kids to the Maxwell pumpkin patch for a couple of years now.  This year Cody actually had fun running around doing activities with Shaleigh.  Cody got to go through the rope maze, corn maze with us, ride the cow train, play with the water coming out of the duck races, and played in the corn.  I love to watch them run around and play freely, having a blast with each other. 

I couldn't have asked for better kids or for better grandparents who went with us and watched them run and play.  My kids are blessed with living next door to them.
