Valentine's Day Weekend 2010

This Valentine's Day we spent it in Lubbock with Uncle Lee and Aunt Kristie. They had seen advertised at an Ice Cream Shop that they were having an ice cream social that would have some very special guest. Those guest turned out to be Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Fairy God Mother. Shaleigh had such a good time hearing the story from someone playing the actual characters.

The characters told the story and sang the songs and even danced. Every young princess got crowned by Cinderella and given a flower from the Prince. Every young price got knighted and received a sword to help fight off the dragons. Each princess and prince also received free ice cream. All and all it was a wonderful time and she enjoyed it so much.

Thanks Aunt Kristie and Uncle Lee for finding this for us to do and also for always looking for stuff for her to do. God Bless you both so much. Unfortunately these are the only pictures I have on my work computer but I can assure you that many more were taken.

Snow Day Feb 2010

The family had a snow day so that is exactly how they spent it...playing in the snow. Dan was home after getting his car stuck in the ditch at 4:00 this morning and dad went to the rescue and pulled him out. I kept Shaleigh home from playschool so that they could have a day together.

It was so much fun to come home during lunch and see two very special snowman standing proud in my front yard. Mom, dad, Dan and Shaleigh spent the whole morning building the two of them. They had a big one (almost over 6 feet tall) and a baby one.

Finally Shaleigh had gotten her wish....her first snowman that she built. They had so much fun and I hope you enjoy seeing the pictures and watching my family grow and have fun.
