The littlest Christmas Angel of the family

We have so enjoyed getting to experience all the new stuff again with Cody. He seems to be moving faster than Shaleigh....could it be because he is the youngest and is wanting to keep up with Shaleigh and the cousins. The will all get down and crawl up to him, talk to him, and jump up and take off. He looks at them like...wait a minute where are you going. I know I have enjoyed watching him learn how to crawl with the aide of Shaleigh and also pulling up on furniture and crying because he can't figure out how to get back down on his butt or knees. Shaleigh will breeze around the corner and sit him back down and take off again. She is such a wonderful big sister. Cody is indeed a very lucky young man.

Let's do the twist...nananana.....okay folks let get ready for a sock hop. You heard right the sock hop has begun.

Shaleigh had so much fun getting to experience her very first dress up day at school....50's day.....sock hop. Let's have fun. They took all of Kindergarten to the gym and they had 5 stations set up. They had the bouncy ball races, the hula hoop, bowling, limbo, and last but not least the bean bag toss. The kids had so much fun going from station to station and laughing their butts off.

My favorite to watch was the bouncy ball races. Shaleigh was dressed up in that poodle skirt with that can can underneath it and it would bounce all over the place as she bounced on the ball. She loves to hula hoop and couldn't understand why she couldn't keep the hoop going....I just told her it was because of her big skirt. She just laughed and off she went.

She had so much fun and she looks forward to many more events in school.

I love Halloween because that is the time of year that Shaleigh and now Cody goes out and gives treats to those who are for the most part home bound. They look forward to Shaleigh coming every year and look for her and if we don't come they call us. These are just a few pictures of Shaleigh with her ladies that she visits and soon Cody will join in. Cody was so tired by the time Halloween night was over as you can see from the picture above.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL.......

I try to take Shaleigh every year to the different carnivals around town and this year Cody got to tag along. I think they had more fun at the Methodist carnival than the TCF one. They had more room to move in and Cody actually got to get down and crawl around. They had so much fun doing the different games at both carnivals and Shaleigh was joined by many friends and family around. We all had a good time and we took lots of baked goods home thanks to the kids and the cake walk. They each had costume contests and the kids enter in them both. Shaleigh won and so did Cody at the Methodist church. In fact they awwwwed at Cody because as soon as I set him down and turn to walk away he flopped down and crawled over to the little boy dressed as a dragon and started banging on his pumpkin and sucking on his tail. The judges thought he was adorable.

Thanks to the many people who work so hard to put these events together for the kids in our town. It beats going door to door which we do very little of.
