This year mommy took off of work so that we could enjoy Friday together. It was a very busy day for us. She took Dani and I to the morning pep rally in the high school gym where we cheered for our Hornets. Than we went to the hospital and showed off Dani. Than home for awhile. At 4 mom took us to the afternoon pep rally at the courthouse square so that we could once again cheer for our Hornets. We had a good time watching Miranda cheer at the square.
At 5 mommy took me to Kylie's house so that her mom could do my hair for homecoming. Mommy couldn't figure out how to keep that halo in my hair so Sondra braided it for me and pinned the halo in and sprayed it with glitter.

From there we went to the game where Kylie, Laynee, and I cheered from the stands while our parents sat at the bottom of the stands so that they could keep an eye out for us. They do this so that we don't have to just sit there and we can get up and cheer. We also get to go down during 3rd quarter and cheer with the cheerleaders. Mom usually has a hand full of us go down with us and take pictures of us while we cheer on the sidelines. She thinks we will all make good cheerleaders when we get older. We won the game and left the game during 4th quarter due to it being so cold and I think we were all ready to go home.

Oh this year was also the first year for the school to do a bonfire since mommy left school. Her and daddy took me out so that I could experience my first bonfire. Daddy held me while mom went and took pictures. He wanted to make sure that I didn't get to close to the fire since it was so big.

We all had so much fun during Homecoming week and I look forward to next year and all the new adventures I will be apart of since I will be in school next year. Mommy might not know what to do without me around to take to these adventures. That is okay next year she will just have to tag along with me.

Look bones...the hip bone is attached to the leg bone.....

This was a new experience for us as we have never attended the pumpkin trails before. Off we went with Aunt Kristie and Dani for a new adventure. They always find good ones for us to explore. Shaleigh got to meet some new friends this time in the form of Liz and Camryn who is related to Dani. It was amazing to see Camryn holding onto Dani's stroller knowing that she was spending time with her sister. And more amazing than that was watching Shaleigh for a new friendship with Liz. For just meeting they hit it off like two peas in a pod even going so far as to posing just alike.

We all had a good time walking around the arts center looking at all the unique pumpkins. Once again Lubbock came through for us in providing a new adventure.

Here's to the next one.....

Tonight was the TCF carnival and we always take Shaleigh so that she can have fun playing games and spending time with friends. They always do an awesome job and we appreciate all that they do. This year Shaleigh was a butterfly and she enjoyed spreading pixy dust everywhere she went. Okay so a little confused on the whole butterfly but we had just watched the new Tinkerbell movie.

She ran around from game to game and laughing with friends, and of course collecting candy. She went home dumped it all out in the floor and shared with her granddad. What a wonderful girl sharing her candy.

Happy Homecoming 2010

Watch my split mom didn't I do a good job
Lining up to go onto the track to cheer
Go Cowboys Go....Go Cowboys Go
Getting ready to leave the track
Let's go Hornets....I mean Cowboys
Come on lets get this ball rolling
Aunt Kristie, Uncle Lee came up just to see me cheer that meant a lot to me

Well this was a first for us...going to Happy Homecoming. Why did we go you might ask? Well Shaleigh's Cheer/Dance class from Happy was performing in front of the crowd. I was so proud of the whole class but Shaleigh especially. I was excited to see what they had been working on since the beginning of classes.

They all had to wear black skorts, hot pink t-shirt with Happy Dance/ Cheer on them. She looked so cute and thanks to Sondra her hair was awesome...in braids. I was so proud to see her get out on that field and cheer with the rest of her class. Some of the other kids were too shy to go out in front of everyone else...but not my Shaleigh.

Thanks to my family who always come out to support Shaleigh in every performance she does. I'm talking to Uncle Lee and Aunt Kristie who come all the way from Lubbock after work to see me cheer and grand-mom and granddad who come out to watch me do my stuff. Of course we can't forget Dan and I who have been there for everything and enjoyed every minute of it.

Tulia Pumpkin Patch 10/10/10

Tulia Pumpkin Patch 2010

Okay here is our collection
Kori, Luke, Laynee, and me with our pumpkins
Laynee is one of my best friends and I'm glad we went together
Here is our haul

To finish off the weekend we asked one Shaleigh's best friends and her family to go to the pumpkin patch with Kori and I. We went there together and boy what a crop they had a good one. Huge pumpkins...I was amazed because last year they didn't have a good one. We just turned the kids loose and they took off across the field in search of the perfect pumpkin. Dana and Robert followed them slowly and found big ones for their decorations.

The kids kept finding little ones and all of the sudden I heard them say mom look it is a whole daycare. They found a clump of little ones all together. I thought it was adorable. Kori went in search of our big pumpkins since I was taking pictures.

Dana and Robert found one that a raccoon had eaten a hole through and eaten everything inside and left. The kids found this so fascinating. I'm so glad that we took the time and went out there with good friends.
