Meet the Hornets

 Shaleigh with our Mascot (Kori)
 Cody just loves Baylie
Cody didn't know what to think of our Mascot
 Kori with the kids
Baylie with the kids

We have gone to Meet the Hornets for the last 3 year and have had a great time.  We get to meet all the athletes: volleyball, track, football, cheerleaders, band members.  The kids always have a great time with their friends around.   These are just two of the girls we will be attending events to support them.  Love these two so much and look forward to a wonderful year.

Fossil Ridge Wildlife Park

Mom and I took the kids to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, it is a 3 hour drive through the country with lots of deers and rams.  The kids thought it was so much fun.  The one deer came right up to the window and stuck his head in.  Cody was turned toward me and when he turned back around toward the window they were nose to nose.  Mom was telling Shaleigh to feed him so that he would get out of the car.  Cody just thought it was funny and laughed so hard.

It was fun to see the animals and for the kids to be able to feed them but like the Dino World it was just so hot close to 110 degrees and we drove through that with no air conditioner so that the suburban wouldn't overheat with the hills.

Dinosaur World-Glen Rose, Texas

 Digging for fossils

Both of them with those wild things

Walking out to the water you saw several dino and an alligator

Cody seemed amazed at how big they were
 Scattered throughout the park

Shaleigh thought this one looked spooky

 She loved the babies
Mom told her it was going to gobble her up

We went to Dinosaur World at Glen Rose after visiting with family in Weatherford.  We were excited to see life size dinosaurs at Dinosaur World.  This was a 1 mild hike through the wooded area with the dinosaurs coming out of the trees and brush along the trial.  This would have been much better and a lot nicer if it wouldn't have been 110 degrees that day.

We loved looking at the dinosaurs but was glad that we were finally through that hike.  Poor Cody my heat magnate was sweating and red in the face and almost drank a whole bottle of water with Shaleigh.  It was hot but worth going to.

Sealife Aquarium

Shaleigh and mom watching the fish
 Mom showing Cody the fish
Cody learned a new word WOW
 They all loved the fish
 The three of us

 My wonderful babies
Cody finally out of the stroller
Hey do you guys see that little boy
 Shay look at him
Hey a new friend just my size

We went to the aquarium at the Grapevine Mills mall and they have done a wonderful job.  Both kids loved looking at the fish and Cody loved his new friend that he found.

Shaleigh would go from one to the other in amazement and wonder.  She loves to fish and thought her daddy would love to see all the fish.  Mom would just follow Shaleigh around and explain what things were while I showed Cody everything.  We all had a wonderful time.
