Shaleigh had a good time at the square during picnic week.  She met up with all her friends and they chased each other around the parking lots and into the blocked off streets.  They all had a great time just being around each other again.  They all had fun on the inflatables and the time of fellowship.

We got to listen to some great music while at the square and just had a great time.  Shaleigh was asked to ride the ferris wheel with a boy and he paid her way, they got up to the ride and she rode it with Brooklyn and he rode it with Brodie.  I told her that kinda defeated the point of him wanting her to ride with him.  She didn't know that and we got a laugh out of it.  That's ok there are many more years ahead for that kinda fun involving boys.

We participated in the Jr Ranch Rodeo again this year with a totally different group of kids.  We asked Devin Hernandez, Sally Wells, and Mikayla Proctor, and of course Shaleigh to be the Rocking Ranchers.  They all had so much fun doing the different events and it made a world of difference having Devin on our team since he could pull the cows this year.

They all did such a great job that we placed 2nd and we qualified to go to the Jr. Ranch Rodeo Finals in Amarillo.....so off we go.  They should have a blast doing the finals and they are all so excited.  They were only beat by an all boy team that placed 1st last year and again this year.

Shaleigh participated in the Miss Splash this year along with her many friends.  She had a great time and was so proud of Trinity when she won Miss Splash.  I have tried to teach her that it doesn't matter if you win it is how much fun you had.  So far she has shown excellent sportsmanship in all that she has done.  I'm so proud of her attitude in sports, pageants, and all things that she does.
