Shaleigh and I in our p.j. at the hospital costume contestThe Friday of Halloween is always a busy night for us. We try to start out early and treat the elderly in our block and some ladies from church. They look forward to Shaleigh coming every year. I always wanted Shaleigh to know that it is better to give than receive. We also go out to the nursing home and visit Uncle J.L., Barnie and Doris.
Next we head to the square where the merchants have all come out to treat the kids of the town. We usually meet up with some friends somewhere along the line and this year Shaleigh wanted to go with her friends so we met up and walked the town together. They had so much fun doing this and enjoyed seeing each other in their costume.
