This was the main two characters: Elsa and Calvin 

The Mariscal family and I had planned in weeks in advance to attend the musical Texas staged at the majestic Palo Dura Canyon.  We didn't tell Shaleigh until that afternoon and we just told her we were going to Canyon to do some shopping and we had a surprise for her.  I basically didn't want to hear about it for two weeks.  

We got to Canyon and went to McDonald's for supper and walking into the building were our friends from Stratford; Jesse, Crystal, Thomas, and Matthew.  She didn't know we were going to see then anytime soon.  Then we explained that we were going to go to a musical called Texas with dancing and singing.

She absolutely loved it.  She kept whipping her head back and forth trying to absorb every character, scene, and how the stage was set up.  She loved the water show afterward and we loved the military salute.  It was a wonderful night spent with wonderful friends.
